The Carbon Wasp Truffle-120, a 120mm travel 29er XC/trail/downcountry bike from Yorkshire.

The Truffle is designed to be built into a bike for all occasions. With a strong and stiff carbon frame to get you efficiently to the top of the trails and 120mm of plush and progressive rear travel so you can get rowdy on the way back down. 
All our frames are made by hand in our workshop in Leeds, UK, using the finest pre-preg carbon fibre and precision engineered tooling. With 4 sizes of front-triangle and 6 different swingarm sizes you can be sure to find the perfect frame for your size and riding style.
The best bit is that because we make everything in our workshop we can customise certain aspects of the frame - e.g. if you don't need  in-frame storage, no problem, or if you'd like to run an IS-56 top headset cup (for angle adjusting headsets) we can do that. We can even change the lower shock link to tweak the frame geometry, contact us if you've got something specific in mind or you want to know more.
The Truffle-120 is not painted - we supply the frame with a coloured wrap, which leaves just enough carbon weave on show for you to see our working, but protects the frame from damage. The wrap comes in Wasp-Yellow as standard but can be customised to any colour and detail you want - single colours are no extra charge but we can do any level of full-colour complexity with patterns/pictures for an additional design charge.

  • BSA threaded bottom bracket - for reliable creak-free cranks

  • 30.9mm internal seatpost - to fit all common dropper posts

  • Boost 148 rear dropouts - to fit the latest wheel standards

  • Rear stays fully UDH compatible - to work with all groupset options

  • Clearance for 29x2.6" rear tyre

  • Zero Stack tapered headset (56/44) - for clean looks and lower stack options (can be customised to 56/56 for angle adusting headsets etc.)

  • Full internal cable routing with internal guide tubes in the stays - protecting cables from the elements

  • Internal downtube lunchbox storage - so you’re never more than an arm’s length from a pork pie (other savoury snacks are available)

  • Optional (not adjustable) chainstay length from 435-460mm in 5mm increments

  • Clearance for 38 tooth chainring (36T with 435mm stays)
  • Custom frame-wrap as standard (we don't use paint) - single colour included, full colour pattern/pictures availalble for an additional design charge
